Man stabbed on CTA Green Line platform

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) - A man was stabbed in the right side of his neck Sunday evening in the West Woodlawn neighborhood on the South Side.
The attack happened about 6:30 p.m. on a CTA Green Line platform in the 6300 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue when officers responded to a battery in progress, Chicago Police said.
He was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, police said. A suspect was in custody.
