CHICAGO (SUN TIMES MEDIA WIRE) - Metra will host a coat drive at all five of its downtown stations beginning Monday.
New and gently used coats can be placed inside special donation containers at Union Station, Ogilvie Transportation Center, Millennium, Van Buren Street and La Salle Street, according to Metra.
All stations on the BNSF line will also have collection containers, Metra said. L
Last year, 450 coats were donated, Metra said. The donated coats will go to The Salvation Army for distribution to those in need.
