Off-duty officer exchanged gunfire with suspect on NW Side

SUN-TIMES MEDIA WIRE - An off-duty Chicago Police officer exchanged gunfire with a suspect Wednesday morning in the Albany Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.
The off-duty officer exchanged gunfire with the person at 11:28 a.m. in the 3400 block of North Albany, according to Chicago Police. No one was hit and no injuries were reported.
One person was taken into custody, police said. Area North detectives are investigating.
