PurpleStride Chicago raises money for a good cause
CHICAGO (FOX 32 NEWS) - It's finally here.
PurpleStride Chicago is taking place this Saturday at Jackson Park. The 5k run and family-friendly walk is being held to raise awareness and funds toward advancing research for those with pancreatic cancer.
Pancreatic deaths will surpass breast cancer deaths this year, according to the American Cancer Society.
Two Chicago affiliates of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, Frank DeSeno and Maureen Feck join the set to talk about this weekend's efforts.
