CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - It may be the crowning achievement of Chicago real estate deals.

Crain's says the Queen of England has just bought a condo downtown.

The British monarch purchased the $1.5 million condo on East Randolph Street in "The Buckingham" building, an appropriate name.

Crain's says the condo will actually be used by the Consul General of Canada.

Queen Elizabeth is also officially the Queen of Canada.

She hasn't been in Chicago since 1959.
