Ramp connecting Lower, Upper Wacker to close for rehab
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News/STMW) - Your drive into the city is going to be much tougher starting Thursday - as a ramp is shut down at one of the city's most traveled spots.
The ramp connecting westbound Lower and Upper Wacker drives will be for two weeks as crews work to complete a rehabilitation project, according to the Chicago Department of Transportation.
In a statement issued Wednesday evening, CDOT said a detour will direct traffic southbound via Columbus Drive to westbound East South Water, which feeds into East Wacker Place, onto North Wabash and finally onto Upper Wacker.
CDOT advised motorists to take alternative routes.
