Search for suspect who robbed woman in southeast Houston parking lot
HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Police are searching for a suspect who knocked a woman to the ground and stole her purse in a southeast Houston parking lot.
The woman was loading groceries into her car in the Hong Kong Food market parking lot in the 9800 block of Gulf Freeway on April 30, 2017, when the incident occurred. Surveillance video shows a silver 4-door car pull up behind the woman, a man jumps out of the passenger side door, and grabs the woman. Police say the man forcibly took her purse, causing her to fall to the ground. Video shows the man getting back into the car and leaving the scene.
The suspect is described as a black male, 20 to 25 years old, 5'10" to 6'0" tall, black hair, brown eyes, medium complexion, wearing a black shirt and black pants.
