A Virginia middle school student could face assault and battery charges after throwing a baby carrot at her teacher. It happened at a school in suburban Richmond.
The carrot is listed as the weapon on Moody Middle School disciplinary paperwork that was produced by the Henrico County school administration after the incident.
14-year-old Aliya May has been suspended for a month after hitting her teacher in the forehead.
The school district has declined to comment on the case. May is waiting for a court summons to see what will happen next.
