SWAT responds to armed man barricading himself inside home in Belmont Heights

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) - A SWAT team responded to a domestic incident Monday night in the Belmont Heights neighborhood on the Northwest Side.
A 45-year-old man armed with a gun barricaded himself inside a home at 11:53 p.m. in the 3800 block of North Oriole, according to Chicago police.
A SWAT team responded and the man was taken into custody without incident, police said. He was charged with a misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct.
No injuries were reported.
