Two lanes closed on NB I-294 near Hodgkins after car crash
CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) - Two lanes on the northbound Tristate tollway near southwest suburban Hodgkins are closed after a car crash Friday night.
A black 2006 Hummer ran off the roadway and overturned at mile marker 22.75 on northbound I-294 at 8:20 p.m., according to a statement from Illinois State Police.
One person was injured in the crash, but police could not immediately provide further details.
As of 9:30 p.m., the third and fourth lanes were closed as crews investigated the crash.
