Woodstock police release photos of burglary suspect

WOODSTOCK (STMW) - Police have released surveillance photos of a suspect in a home burglary Wednesday morning in northwest suburban Woodstock.
A citizen noticed suspicious activity at a neighbor’s home in the 400 block of Oakwood Avenue at 9:23 a.m. and called 911, according to Woodstock police.
The officers arrived and saw three people burglarizing the home. All three ran, but during a search, police caught two of the suspects, both male. Community Unit School District 200 went into a soft lockdown as a precaution during the search.
A handgun that was reported stolen in the burglary has been recovered, police said.
Police are still searching for the third suspect. He is described as a thin black male about 5-foot-10 with dreadlocks, wearing a hooded, patterned dark sweatshirt and gray sweatpants.
