Petros notches career night, Oakland tops Ill-Chicago 91-77

Corey Petros scored a career-high 34 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead Oakland to a 91-77 win over Illinois-Chicago on Wednesday night.

Khalil Felder had 20 points on 7-of-12 shooting, seven assists and five boards and Jalen Hayes had 16 points and 10 assists for Oakland (12-12, 7-2 Horizon). The Golden Grizzlies shot 60 percent from the field and 50 percent from behind the 3-point line.

Paris Burns finished with 20 points and nine assists, Ahman Fells had 19 points and eight rebounds and Markese McGuire added 16 points, including 4-of-5 3-point shooting for the Flames (5-19, 1-8).

After pulling ahead by three at the midway mark, Oakland quickly stretched the lead to double digits two minutes into the second, and did not allow the deficit to drop below that, leading by as many as 22.
