"Yeah I'm glad [I got the shot]," 11-year-old Jacob Villasenor said, adding he did it because he wants to stop COVID-19 "once and for all" and to help the people who are sick.

More than 330,000 Chicago Public Schools students got the day off on Friday in an effort to encourage them to get their coronavirus vaccination.
