At least 11 dead in UPS plane crash in Kentucky

A UPS cargo plane crashed shortly after takeoff from Louisville’s Muhammad Ali International Airport, killing at least 11 people and leaving several others unaccounted for. The aircraft, bound for Hawaii and carrying more than 200,000 pounds of jet fuel, burst into flames after its left wing caught fire. Investigators have recovered the plane’s black box, which could shed light on the cause of the crash. Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear called the incident “a devastating tragedy” as local and federal agencies continue recovery efforts.
