CHICAGO - Severe storms are sweeping through the Chicago area and Northwest Indiana on Monday afternoon, triggering multiple severe thunderstorm and tornado warnings.
The storms has left hundreds of thousands of ComEd customers without power as they move across the region.
As of about 2 p.m., more than 270,000 ComEd customers were without electricity.
