Furry Friend of the Week: Adoptable dog Caramel

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - FOX 32 News has teamed up with no-kill shelter PAWS Chicago to bring you an adoptable pet each week. This week, we're a sweet dog named Caramel!

Caramel is a 1-year-old Catahoula Leopard dog mix who is looking for an owner who loves to run or walk daily to help her exercise some of her excess energy. She can be a little shy at first but once Caramel warms up, she will be your best buddy for life.

She would do best in a moderately active home with adults and no other pets so that she can be the center of attention. Her dream home would have a yard she can play in. Caramel would thrive in the hands of an experienced owner who will continue training.

Caramel, along with many other adorable dogs and cats, will be available for adoption today at noon at the PAWS Chicago Lincoln Park Adoption Center, located at 1997 N. Clybourn Avenue in Lincoln Park. For more information call 773-935-PAWS or visit PawsChicago.org.
