Program offers property in Auburn Gresham for $1

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - Right now  in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood, there is a lot of land that can be purchased for less than the cost of a candy bar - just $1 to be exact.

The city has expanded it's Large Lots Land Sale program to the South Side neighborhood. But there are a few stipulations.

Applicants must own property on the same block, be up to date  on property taxes and have no outstanding debt to the city. That means no outstanding parking tickets or water bills!
