CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) – The race for Cook County State’s Attorney has become the most important contest on the March ballot.

The race is currently being led by Anita Alvarez. A recent Chicago Tribune poll shows she holds 34-percent of the vote, despite the uproar surrounding her handling of the Laquan McDonald shooting tape.
