10 local artists selected for Chicago's arts and health pilot, receive $66K and benefits
CHICAGO - There is a new job training program in the city aiming to bring arts and health together.
The Chicago Arts and Health pilot for creative workers will pay artists to train in community clinics and become certified community health workers.
Ten local artists have already been chosen. They'll each get $66,000 and benefits.
The application for next year will open in November.
