10-week Wabash closure starts Monday in Loop

CHICAGO (SUN TIMES MEDIA WIRE) - Part of Wabash Avenue in the Loop will be closed for 10 weeks starting Monday morning for construction of a new CTA station.
Wabash will close between Madison and Monroe at 6:30 a.m. Monday for construction of a new CTA train station above Wabash, according to the Chicago Department of Transportation. The closure will last about 10 weeks.
Westbound traffic on Madison will be maintained during the closure, CDOT said. All businesses and residents will continue to have access to their buildings; and ADA service, valet service and loading zones will be provided for each building.
