CHICAGO - On Sunday, the Illinois Department of Public Health reported 1,462 new confirmed COVID-19 cases in Illinois, along with 14 additional deaths.

IDPH is reporting a total of 261,371 cases, including 8,309 deaths.

Within the past 24 hours, laboratories have reported 46,089 tests for a total of 4,735,866.

The recovery rate remains at 96 percent.
