2 hurt in Dan Ryan Expressway crash at 26th Street

CHICAGO - Two people were taken to hospitals after a vehicle crash Thursday morning on the Dan Ryan Expressway.

The crash happened about 10:30 a.m. on the expressway near 26th Street, according to the Chicago Fire Department.

The pair were transported in separate ambulances to hospitals for treatment, fire department spokesman Larry Merritt said.

A spokeswoman for Illinois State Police was unable to immediately provide additional details.
