2-year-old boy critical after being hit by vehicle on West Side
CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) - A 2-year-old boy was critically injured when he was hit by a vehicle in the East Garfield Park neighborhood Tuesday evening on the West Side.
Emergency crews responded at 5:41 p.m. to the collision near the intersection of Jackson and Central Park boulevards, according to the Chicago Fire Department.
The boy was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious-to-critical condition, fire officials said.
Chicago Police did not immediately have more details on the crash.
