230 lbs. of marijuana seized, plants in plain view on porch
DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. - Two men have been arrested after police seized 230 pounds of marijuana after a caller mentioned the plants were in plain view on an apartment front porch, according to the DeKalb County Police Department.
Authorities responded to the call at 2952 North DeKalb Drive, and after obtaining a search warrant, found the 230 pounds of marijuana in addition to smaller amounts of cocaine, ecstasy, ketamine, and money, according to police.
Meigui Wang, 52, and Zhenyi Len, 35, were arrested and charged in relation to the case, according to police.
Wang was charged with violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act, trafficking Marijuana, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, Possession of MDMA with Intent to Distribute, and possession of Ketamine with intent to distribute, according to police.
Len was charged with drug possession and possession of marijuana less than one ounce, according to police.
