3-year-old girl missing after father's arrest located

BROOKLYN PARK, Minn. (KMSP) - A 3-year-old girl from Brooklyn Park has been located after her father took her in May. 

The girl was reported missing by the Brooklyn Park Police Department after her father was taken into custody by Brooklyn Park SWAT Monday. The father, Trimell Chamberlain, 30, was previously determined unfit to care for children. 

Police say he was uncooperative and did not provide any information about the whereabouts of the child after his arrest.

The girl, Try'Reshia Chamberlain, appears to be healthy and unharmed after she was found at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. 

According to Brooklyn Park Police, the girl was turned over to police detectives by a female who is a friend of the father.

The investigation into this incident remains open and active.
