Body pulled from South Branch of the Chicago River

CHICAGO - A body was pulled from the South Branch of the Chicago River in Little Village.

About 10:00 a.m Chicago police’s Marine Unit received calls of a body in the water of the South Branch of Chicago River near the 3300 block of South Kedzie Avenue, Chicago police said.

CPD’s Marine Unit and Chicago fire officials are working to remove the body from the river.
