Chicago police: Man shot in the chest on South Side

CHICAGO - A 26-year-old man was shot in the chest on Tuesday in Chicago's Chatham neighborhood.

Around 5:17 p.m., police say the male victim was in the 800 block of E. 80th Street when he was struck in the chest by gunfire.

He was taken to University of Chicago Hospital in good condition, police said.
