Chicago Police: Man tried to sexually assault woman on Near West Side
SUN-TIMES MEDIA WIRE - Chicago Police say a man tried to sexually assault a woman early Sunday on the Near West Side.
At 3:45 a.m., the man started following the woman near Washburne and Western, according to a community alert issued Sunday.
He then grabbed her and tried to force her inside a home, but she was able to get away, police said.
The attacker is described as a black man with tattoos on both arm and a short fade haircut, about 5-foot-10 and 185 pounds. He was wearing jeans, tennis shoes and a dark T-shirt with the words “ALL DAY.”
