Cook County's first baby born at 12:01 a.m. on New Year's Day

CHICAGO (STMW) - Cook County’s first born baby of 2016 arrived early New Year’s Day at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in northwest suburban Park Ridge.
Jaylanie Rodriguez was born at 12:01 a.m., weighing five pounds, 10 ounces, according to a statement from the hospital. She is her mother Aliyah Rodriguez’s first child.
Rodriguez will speak to the news media Friday at 10:30 a.m.
