Cops: Missing South Side girl, 12, in need of medication

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) - Chicago Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a 12-year-old girl who went missing Thursday afternoon from the South Side and might be in need of her medication.

Sharonda McNickles was last seen about 2:30 p.m. in the 6800 block of South Dante, according to a missing person alert.

The 5-feet tall, 106-pound black girl was wearing a lavender T-shirt, gray shorts and black shoes, the alert said. She is from the 1500 block of East 72nd Street and wears her brown hair in braids.
