CTA to expand, reroute buses for Bud Billiken Parade

CHICAGO (SUN TIMES MEDIA WIRE) - The CTA will increase service on the South Side Saturday to accommodate attendees of the Bud Billiken Parade in Bronzeville.
Bus service will be expanded on the King Drive, Cottage Grove, Jeffery Local, State and Garfield routes as of Saturday morning, according to the CTA.
The parade will reroute the bus routes — along with the no. 47 and no. 43 buses — from about 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., the CTA said.
