Garage apartment in Highwood catches fire, no one hurt

HIGHWOOD, Illinois - No one was injured in a garage apartment fire in Highwood on Sunday.

Highland Park Fire Chief Joe Scharge said firefighters were dispatched to 230 Evolution Avenue at 1:29 p.m.

They started a hose line and searched for possible victims, but no one was home.

The cause of the fire has not been determined.
