Illinois state senators approve bill pushing Trump to release his tax returns

The Illinois Senate is joining the fight to get President Trump's tax returns released.
State senators voted Thursday to require presidential candidates to publicly release their tax returns, and if they don’t, the bill dictates they would not be able to appear on the ballot.
The bill now goes to the House for a vote. It comes as President Trump has come under fire for refusing to release his tax returns.
