Man finds video of Chicago in the 1940s

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - A surprise find lets you take a virtual trip into Chicago’s past.

A man found a video of Chicago in the 1940s at an estate sale in Auburn Gresham.

Jeff Altman has put the 32 minute video up on Vimeo on the Internet for everyone to see. The new digitally restored video shows the city before the Willis Tower and the John Hancock Center.
