Man found dead near Belmont Harbor bike path committed suicide

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) - A 54-year-old man who was found dead near a bike path off Belmont Harbor on Saturday afternoon on the North Side committed suicide, an autopsy found.
The body was discovered about 4:10 p.m. in the 3200 block of North Lake Shore Drive, according to Chicago Police.
An autopsy found the man died of sharp force injuries to the head and neck, and his death was ruled a suicide, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
