Man hospitalized after being shot during South Side home invasion, police say
CHICAGO - A 38-year-old man is hospitalized after three suspects robbed and shot him inside his South Side home Saturday, Chicago police said.

The incident happened at 12:45 p.m. Saturday in the 6300 block of S. Martin Luther King Drive.
A 38-year-old man was inside his residence when three suspects arrived at his front door.
The suspects displayed guns, entered the home, and demanded personal property, according to Chicago police.
They battered the victim, took his property, and one suspect fired a shot at the victim, authorities said. The victim was shot in his right calf and transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition.
