Manhunt underway after Palos Hill woman sexually assaulted at gunpoint

A manhunt is underway in the southwest suburbs after a woman was sexually assaulted at gunpoint.

The woman was coming home from work Friday morning when a man with a gun forced her back into her car near 103rd and Harlem, police said. He then made her drive to another location in Palos Hills where the attack happened along a dark stretch of roadway.

The suspect is described as a black male, thin, about 120 pounds, about 5-foot-6, 18 to 19 years old, wearing a grey hoodie and blue jeans.

The suspect left on foot after the attack, taking the victim's purse, which contained her wallet and cell phone.
