No injuries reported after shots fired on Eisenhower
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - Illinois State Police are investigating a report of shots fired on the Eisenhower Expressway Monday morning on the West Side.
Illinois State Police troopers were dispatched for reports of shots fired at 10:30 a.m. Monday on eastbound I-290 near Independence Boulevard, according to ISP.
Troopers canvassed the scene and were able to recover at least one shell casing. A vehicle was detained for a short time before being released.
There are no reports of any suspects or arrests made.
No injuries were reported.
Eastbound lanes are shut down in the area of the investigation.
