A dog abandoned Monday evening in Palos Park | Palos Park police
PALOS PARK (STMW) - Police in southwest suburban Palos Park are trying to find the person who abandoned a pit bull puppy Sunday evening.
Officers were called to the intersection of 123rd and Post about 5:30 p.m. after a pit bull puppy was found abandoned in the roadway, police said.
The dog was taken to the Chicago Ridge Animal Welfare League, police said.
Someone driving a white sedan with Illinois license plates ending in “796″ dropped off the dog, police said.
