CHICAGO - A man was shot and killed early Sunday on Chicago’s South Side after a fight inside a home turned violent, police said.

What we know:
The shooting happened at 6:11 a.m. Sunday in the 10600 block of South Walden Parkway.
A verbal altercation between a 20-year-old man and a male offender inside a home escalated into a physical fight, according to Chicago police.
The offender pulled a gun and shot the man multiple times before fleeing, police said.
Officers arrived to find the 20-year-old critically wounded.
He was taken to Christ Hospital, where he later died. His identity has not been released.

No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.
