Suburban Chicago girl injured in hit-and-run released from hospital
CHICAGO (Fox 32 News) - A 7-year-old girl hurt by a hit and run driver is out of the hospital and back home.
The Kane County Sheriff’s Office posted a happy picture of Lexi Hanson at home on Thursday. She was hit while riding her bike in St. Charles on Mother's Day.
Lexi still has to recover from broken bones.
The alleged driver of the truck that hit her is being held on a $500,000 bond.
