Surveillance video shows woman robbed at gunpoint in Chinatown

Surveillance video captured the moment four people robbed a woman at gunpoint in Chinatown.

Chicago police are looking into two other crimes as well, bringing the total to three robberies in the Chinatown area in a little more than a week.

The video released by police is pretty clear. It's from last Wednesday and shows a woman walking down the street in the 200 block of West 23rd just before midnight. You see four men chase her down before grabbing her purse and putting a gun in her face.

In a second video from the same block just 2 days later, just before 7 in the evening, police say two people seen on video are suspected in the strong arm robbery of another woman.

Those two crimes are the latest in a string of robberies after a third, which happened on November 2nd a couple blocks away at about 1:45 in the morning. Police say video shows an armed robbery and two men running away from someone walking their dog after getting out of a parked vehicle.

In that latest incident, police are hoping to identify the vehicle on video. They say it's a 2013 Ford Escape and has the Illinois license plate Z711759.
