Teenager killed by gunfire on South Side sidewalk

CHICAGO - A 17-year-old boy was fatally shot Thursday evening in Chicago's Back of the Yards.

Police say the victim was in the 4500 block of South Paulina Street just after 6:30 p.m. when he was shot in the shoulder and the groin. 

He was transported to Stroger Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
