Tom Watson talks new children's book 'Stick Cat'

CHICAGO (FOX 32 NEWS) - Move over, stick dog! There's a new pet in town.

Author and illustrator Tom Watson is back with "Stick Cat: The Tail of Two Kitties."

Watson is a Chicago-native who started his career writing political speeches—a far cry from children's literature.

Watson joins Good Day Chicago to talk about his transition and his process behind drawing some of this most beloved creations.
