WATCH: Pediatrician reveals magic touch to soothe crying baby
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - The perfect solution to a crying infant is every parents dream.
One doctor claims he has a technique that can quiet any baby.
In a 4-minute video, Dr. Robert C. Hamilton, of Santa Monica, California, demonstrates his technique that he claims works every time.
Dr. Hamilton says the ‘The Hold’ works best on babies two-to-three-months old. After that, they get a little too heavy to hold in the proper position.
To do the hold:
- Fold the baby’s arms across its chest
- Gently secure the baby’s arms with one hand
- With your dominant hand, grasp the baby’s bottom
- Gently rock the baby at a 45-degree angle.
