A woman was in the middle of enjoying her sandwich during a day at the beach when a bold seagull swooped out of nowhere and swiped the sandwich as she attempted to take another bite.
Victoria Shannon Reed was setting up her camera to watch for seagulls on July 19 at Wildwood Crest Beach in New Jersey.
Video obtained by the social news platform Storyful captures Reed being surprised when the seagull aggressively snatched the sandwich from her hand.
"I decided to film myself eating a sandwich on the beach because I knew the seagulls were aggressive," Reed told Storyful, "While filming, a seagull came from behind me and grabbed my sandwich. This scared me and caused me to scream, become completely stunned and then I decided to chase after them."
