You could win $10,000 if your baby is born on the same day as the royal baby

LOS ANGELES - Soon-to-be parents could win $10,000 if their baby is born on the same day as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s newest royal bundle of joy.

PepsiCo’s Pure Leaf Tea announced a “royal-TEA” contest in celebration of its newest line of Herbal Iced Tea, giving families the chance to win money.

Markle previously revealed to fans that she's due in late April, but an exact due date hasn’t been announced.

Entering the sweepstakes is relatively simple. American families just need to follow royal news and wait for the Duchess of Sussex to give birth.

If their baby arrives on the same calendar day as Baby Sussex, parents can enter by following @PureLeaf on Instagram or Twitter and take a photo of their new family, newborn, or baby-related accessory and upload it with the hashtags #PureLeafRoyalTEABaby and #Sweepstakes. Those who wish to enter will need to do so within seven days of giving birth.

Pure Leaf will randomly select 10 newborns as the potential winners and will award one lucky family with the $10,000 cash grand prize. The company is encouraging recipients to put the money toward the newborn's future education, but families can use the prize however they choose.

The 10 lucky babies, along with their parents, will receive a free “royal family” portrait session with renowned photographer Yaron Leshem, whose work is featured at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.

One of those families will be surprised with the $10,000 reward during their photo shoot.

In addition, 50 families will win $100 Shutterfly gift cards as part of the contest.

Winners will be notified by direct message on social media within 48 hours after the submission window closes, the company said.
