Copa America comes to Chicago

Chicago landed a bid to host games during Copa America, an international football tournament to determine the continental champion of South America.

The Copa America will be staged outside South America for the first time in the tournament's 100 years of history.

The Windy City is one of 10 U.S. cities selected to host the Copa America this summer, including the U.S. vs. Costa Rica match on June 7 and the tournament semi-finals on June 22.

Soldier Field is slated to host all of the contests located in Chicago.
