Cubs, Sox report for spring training

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - The long wait is over, baseball is finally back!

Pitchers and catchers report for the Chicago Cubs and White Sox Friday. 

The Cubs have a lot of high expectations as they open in Mesa, Ariz. coming off a great season that ended in the NLCS. The Cubs have their first spring training game against the Brewers Thursday afternoon.

Big things are also expected out of the White Sox this year. At least one publication is predicting they will play the Cubs in the world series.

The Sox open play against the Dodgers also on Thursday.

Chicago Sports Insider Lou Canellis will be in Arizona for the Cubs and Sox camps Friday night on FOX 32 News at Nine.
