Another plume of dusty air reached the United States Tuesday, again bringing dust particles to sections of the Southern United States.

U.S. residents reveling in Independence Day festivities will get a prime-time view of a penumbral lunar eclipse that is expected to take over the night sky starting at 11:04 p.m. EDT.

The challenge comes ahead of NASA’s 2024 flight to the moon, which aims to land the first woman and next man on the lunar surface.

“The committee remains concerned that there is no unified, comprehensive process within the Federal Government for collecting and analyzing intelligence on unidentified aerial phenomena, despite the potential threat,” according to a recent government report.

The estimates were published in The Astrophysical Journal on June 15.

Liftoff was rescheduled for Saturday afternoon.

NASA and SpaceX will launch the first astronauts since the retirement of the space shuttle program in 2011 on May 27 from launch pad 39A at Kennedy Space Center.

It’s been nearly nine years since astronauts blasted into space from American soil. Thanks to Mother Nature, it will be at least three more days.
